In an ever-changing and increasingly fast-paced business environment, business professionals are looking to leverage relationships for themselves, and their clients, that can lead to increased productivity, expanded opportunities, and trusted referral sources to satisfy their needs and benefit everyone’s bottom line. It was for this purpose that the Business Referral Network of Suffolk County (BRNSC) was started. We primarily serve the Brookhaven and Riverhead township communities, but our professional member’s expertise and knowledge can help anyone on Long Island.

Know, Like, Trust
BRNSC takes the best practices of the nationally organized networking groups, but keeps the cost structure low, the decision making local, and the fun quotient high. We restrict members to one professional per business category. Some professions, like Law, Finance, Trades, can have niches with different professionals occupying specific categories within that profession. Our meetings are held in Bellport on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 8-9:30am, and are predicated on the concept of KLT- Know, Like, Trust.
Every relationship goes through this hierarchy… you have to get to Know someone before you get to Like them, and once you Like them, you have to get to Trust them, which takes time. When Trust is achieved, that is when a referable relationship starts to exist. And as an added benefit, friendships form. At this point, referrals become second nature. This is BRNSC. Referrals through friendships.
Giving Back
BRNSC members also give back to the communities that they serve, through local advocacy groups and events, charitable causes and contributions, and other forms of community help. We will be known for what we bring to a community, not what we extract from it. We also have quarterly socials to deepen the bonds of friendship between members.
