At a recent BRN meeting, Robert Cohen, COO at Conference Associates, Inc., gave our group an in-depth look into the New York State Business Group (NYSBG), which help small business owners with a variety of affordable services to help them better manage their companies and grow on Long Island. Here’s an overview of Robert’s presentation:
NYSBG is an association formed to advance the interests of businesses, businessmen and businesswomen in the State of New York. Historically, NYSBG has engaged in lobbying efforts in Albany to encourage the passing of legislation favoring business in the State of New York.
Membership in NYSBG entitles members to access association benefits, including discount programs and exclusive products. Over the years, NYSBG has expanded its charter to provide benefits not only to business owners, but to individual employees and retirees. NYSBG membership has been $60 per year since 2001 for a Company membership, with the option to add-on additional plans and benefits.
Additionally, we are expanding our NYSBG Bookkeeping Services with a variety of custom services tailored to meet each individual clients’ specific needs.

- Accounts Payable

- Credit Card Statement Processing
- Bank Reconciliations
