Two Van-Loads of Food!

On a beautiful Saturday morning, September 29th, members of Business Referral Network of Suffolk County (BRN), which meets in Bellport, held a food drive at Cirillo’s Market to benefit 2 Bellport food pantries: Christ Episcopal Church and St. Vincent DePaul at May Immaculate Church. With great support from BRN members and the local community, a large food donation was given to both food pantries.

Danielle Paul of Electric Bricks Making Us All Look Good

At our July 18th BRN networking meeting, we had the privileged of having Danielle Paul, a freelance photographer at Electric Bricks, shoot headshots for many of the members. Danielle is a versatile professional photographer whose specialty is photographing food, but has a wide range of commercial photographic experience. In addition to shooting many of the images used on Electric Bricks’ client websites, her product photography has also appeared on The Burlington Coat Factory and JCPenny websites, among others.

Zackary Will of Paychex Explains Outsourcing HR & Payroll Services

At each BRN networking meeting, members are encouraged to share information about themselves and their businesses. We all discuss the highlights of our companies and what our ideal referral would be. In addition to that, at each meeting, one member is asked to give a more in-depth presentation. This allows the other members to get a deeper understanding of their company and the strengths and talents of the individual so-as to better be able to send them referrals that fit their business model. At our June 20th meeting, Zachary Will of Paychex gave us a more comprehensive understanding of the role Paychex can play in helping small businesses manage their human resources and payroll challenges.

Business Referral Network of Suffolk County (BRNSC) Cleans William Floyd Eastbound Sunrise Highway Exit

On a rainy and blustery May 19th, BRNSC took part in the annual Great Brookhaven Town-Wide Cleanup Day. Volunteers were given by Brookhaven Town day-glow t-shirts, large trash bags, refuse retrieval sticks, gloves, and stickers for the trash bags. BRNSC is a networking group of professionals who meet bi-weekly in Bellport.
